What is the InfraRelief™ Scalp Massager?
It is a handheld scalp brush that combines a gentle massage action with red light. You glide it across your scalp in slow passes as part of your normal haircare routine.
Does it have an oil chamber?
Yes. There’s a small chamber built into the brush head. Add a few drops of the InfraRelief™ Batana Hair Oil, or your own oil, close it and switch on. The oil is released through the head as you massage, so it reaches the scalp evenly instead of sitting on your hands. The oil is sold separately, or together with the massager in the Scalp Care Starter Set.
How do I use it?
Add a few drops of oil to the oil chamber if you’re using it. Section your hair, switch the brush on and move it slowly across your scalp from front to back. Keep the bristles in contact with the scalp rather than just the hair, and work across the whole head in a few passes.
How often can I use it?
Most people find a few minutes at a time, a few times a week, fits easily into their routine. There is no need to use it for long stretches. Short and consistent works better than occasional long sessions.
What is it made from?
The brush is made from ABS plastic with metal bristle tips. The tips are rounded so they glide over the scalp without scratching.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the teeth and the oil chamber with a soft, slightly damp cloth after use, and pull out any loose hair. Don’t submerge it in water.
Will it pull or catch my hair?
No. The bristles are spaced and rounded to move through hair smoothly. Work in slow passes rather than dragging it quickly and it will glide without tugging.
Can I use it on all hair types?
Yes. It suits straight, wavy, curly and coily hair, and works on short or long hair. Part thicker hair into sections so the bristles reach the scalp.
